9:00 am: 1 Mile Fun Run Starts – by Irondale City Hall

Top 3 Male/Female in 10-year age brackets from:
14 & Under 15 – 19 20 – 29
30 – 39 40 – 49 50 – 59
60 – 69 70+
Overall & Age Group Awards will Not be duplicated.
5K & 1 Mile Fun Run will receive a Finisher Medal
Pets at the Race:
Pets are welcome to participate. All pets must be on a leash. Please clean up after your pet. The actions of the pet are the responsibility of the pet owner/caretaker.
Strollers at the Race:
We allow strollers at the event. If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times. For the child’s safety, we ask that during the 5K or Fun Run, the child stays in the stroller until crossing the finish line.
Bandits are unregistered runners or walkers attempting to participate in the run or walk events. Running with No registration is not permitted in the 5K, or 1 Mile Fun Run. Please be sure to register for the Heartbeat of Irondale 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run so that you can enjoy all that the race has to offer. Everyone in the 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run will need to wear their Bib Number that shows you are a registered participant. All proceeds of the event go to the Exchange Club CAP Center.
Bib Number Transfer and Cancellation Policy:
There are NO refunds of registration fees. Bib number transfers of registration must be completed by April 1st. **If you need to make changes to your registration or transfer to another participant [Click Here] for instructions on how to change your registration. This event will occur rain or shine, warm or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Exchange Club CAP Center.
The Exchange Club CAP Center began serving families in 1987. Today, the Center continues to provide support and education services to both Children And Parents. We offer 7 diverse programs designed to Educate, Motivate, Inspire, and Empower participants to break destructive cycles that impact children and families.
