Just a Call Away Virtual Challenge or Chip Timed Option
Crisis Center, Inc. is proud to present the sixth annual Just A Call Away. Also, this year the Crisis Center, Inc. is celebrating its 50th anniversary! That’s 50 years of bringing hope and healing to our community, and we look forward to the next 50! This year’s event will be a celebration of the important work of the Crisis Center, Inc., but as with many other things in 2020, it’s going to look different. Our team has been brainstorming and exploring new approaches to 5K racing with an emphasis on safety for all runners. With that in mind, we have two options for you this year: a virtual challenge and a live chip-timed 5K with a flex start time. You can choose to do the virtual challenge, the live chip-timed option, or BOTH! Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.

50,000 Miles for 50 Years!
The Crisis Center, Inc. is committed to providing 24-hour compassionate care to serve the unmet needs of people experiencing personal crisis or mental health issues in our area — and they’ve been doing this for 50 years! To celebrate, we want to say “thank you” in a BIG way and aim higher than we originally thought possible. Can we collectively run 1,000 miles for every year that Crisis Center, Inc. has served our community?! That’s 50,000 miles! Will this be an easy goal to reach? No. But do we believe that our community of supporters is capable? Yes! All of us are affected by crises. And all of us can help. Each step you take for this challenge will honor the connection, healing, and hope that the Crisis Center, Inc. has brought to our community for the past 50 years, and that they are committed to bringing for the next 50 years as well!
