Running for the Bulls 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us for our 5th Annual Running for the Bulls 5K and 1M Fun Run! This is a family and fur friendly event to raise money for Bama Bully Rescue. Since 2008, we have been rescuing pit bull type dogs from Alabama animal shelters. Our mission is to create breed ambassadors, educate communities about the true nature of the breed, and help bully breed owners spay/neuter their pets. We are honored to be allowed to dedicate this run to the memory of Mary Michaels, an avid runner and proud bully breed mom. Running for the Bulls is a 3.1 or a one mile trail run (your choice) through stunningly beautiful Oak Mountain State Park. All dogs are welcome and runners are encouraged to bring their “canine coach” with them! Both humans and canines will have an opportunity to medal. Family and friends can shop our extensive raffle items while waiting for their trail warriors to cross the finish line! This is a rain or shine event, so plan for muddy trails and lots of fun!
