Southminster Scamper
The Southminster Scamper is a foot race through Vestavia Hills. The 5K Scamper cowbell rings at 9 a.m. to kick off the race. Join Heather Benoit from Healthyish with Heather at 8:45 a.m. for a little stretching and warm-up! Walk, run, or SCAMPER all the way to the finish line!! The Kids Fun Run’s cowbell rings at 10 a.m. The Kids Fun Run is sure to be full of smiles and end with a finishers medal! Tillman Field will host vendors, activities, food trucks, and more until noon! Awards ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m.

The Southminster Scamper hosted by Southminster Presbyterian Church and Southminster Day School is dedicated to supporting The WellHouse and the children and families of Southminster Day School.
The WellHouse provides residential, therapeutic programs to female victims of human trafficking. Half of the proceeds raised from the Scamper will benefit the WellHouse. For more information visit: www.the-wellhouse.org
Southminster Day School, a private school, was established in 1967. The SDS mission is to give children of the community the finest background in their early formative years in a Christian atmosphere.
