The Great Commission Run 5K

On Saturday, May 22, 2021, The Great Commission 5K Run will be held at Vivian Lee Maddox Sports Complex in Rainbow City to raise money for HFC Students’ summer mission trip to Andrews, North Carolina.

REGISTRATION: Pre-register and pay online using the link above to receive a FREE race t-shirt! The deadline to pre-register is May 7. You may also register and pay the day of the event (t-shirt not included). Walkers and strollers are welcome!

COST: The 5K entry fee is $25. There is no entry fee for the 1-mile Fun Run. Kids 5 and under are free with parent registration. Race t-shirts are $12 each (free with pre-registration). Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase at the race.

SCHEDULE: Race day check-in and registration begins at 7:00am. The 5K Run begins at 8:00am. We’ll wrap things up no later than 10:30am.

AWARDS: We will award medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for both men and women. Medals will also be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each age division.

NEW THIS YEAR: This year’s 5k will be electronically timed using timing chips! (No time cards!) Also, your time will not start until you cross the starting line, which means you will be able to physically distance yourself from other runners if you like.
