ALABAMA SERVICE WORKERS RELIEF VIRTUAL 5K

COVID-19 has hit Alabama’s restaurant and hospitality industry hard. Thousands of service industry workers across our state have lost their jobs or seen their hours reduced. Join the Trak Shak, Redmont Distilling, and EW Motion Therapy for a Virtual 5k to fight back for Alabama’s service workers. All proceeds go directly to the AL Hospitality Workers Relief Fund, which distributes cash directly to Alabama food and beverage workers to help cover rent, utility, and medical expenses during the COVID-19 crisis. 

Participants will have from 6:00am on Friday, May 8th until 4:00pm on Sunday, May 10th to complete their 5k and submit their results. We will announce the winners on a Virtual Happy Hour at 6:00pm on Sunday hosted by Redmont Distilling!

All participants will complete their 5k either outside or on a treadmill. To be eligible for Top Finisher Awards, participants must submit photographic evidence of their time to [email protected]. Participants may take a photo of their treadmill screen or a screenshot of results from a running app such as Strava or Nike Runs.

Awards will go to the Top 3 Overall Women and Men. We will also announce an exciting lineup of raffle prizes soon!
